We are physicians who have spent our careers caring for patients and training future doctors within the traditional health care system. Like many of our patients, we have personally navigated the realities of modern life—parenting, balancing career and family, midlife transitions, menopause, and caring for aging parents. Along the way, we discovered firsthand how powerful nutrition, movement, sleep, and other lifestyle strategies can be in reclaiming health and well-being.

What we value most in medicine is building meaningful relationships and having the time to truly listen, educate, and partner with patients. Over time, we felt constrained by a system that prioritizes treatment and procedures over prevention—and productivity over presence—making it difficult to deliver the kind of care we believe patients deserve.

We believe there is a better way. Lifestyle Medicine is an evidence-based approach that uses sustainable behavior change to prevent, treat, and even reverse many chronic conditions. While medications and procedures absolutely have an important role, lifestyle medicine addresses a critical gap in traditional medical training and gets to the root of long-term health and quality of life.

With our medical expertise, we guide patients using the six pillars of Lifestyle Medicine: a whole-foods, plant-predominant diet; regular physical activity; restorative sleep; stress management; avoidance of risky substances; and strong social connections. Our goal is to help you take control of your health—now and for the long term.

Your Questions, Answered

  • Visits are not billed to insurance. This allows for longer visits, deeper care, and proactive planning. Labs, imaging, and medications may be billed to insurance or offered at cash rates. You can use HSA funds to pay for this program.

Direct care clinics, such as ours, offer an innovate alternative payment model that improves your access to your physician for a flat monthly fee. Instead of being limited by insurance, both you and physician are able to spend increased time focusing on your needs and goals. You don't need to worry about not being able to get an appointment for months on end, and not hearing back from messages for days. We have eliminated these problems for you. And no worries about insurance denying a claim.
